Bio 

 

At age 7 Dwight began helping my his mother be a weekend, 'kitchen beautician'.  Under his mothers hand he also learned the arts of Barbering and Marcel ironing.  After years of working on friends and family, the avid learner completed a course in Cosmetology at a Paul Mitchell education center and began training under Master Barber Charles Phillips where barbering skills grew to include Unisex Barbering on all textures of hair, cream relaxers and facials.  After 6 1/2 years as a practicing barber the desire to learn more took him to Trade Secrets where color, design cutting and styling techniques, were honed as he worked alongside a diverse group of experienced professionals whom collectively inspired and influenced a base skill set to work on ALL hair textures.
The next decade was spent applying my craft to a diverse clientele in his own salons, trade shows, fashion shows, weddings, photo shoots and much more.  Currently Dwight is  quite busy handling a growing clientele in Naperville, IL., training as an in-salon Educator for Formula 18 and developing limited speaking/teaching engagements on various points of interest as a Master Barber, Stylist and Salon Owner.
